A registered classroom on Charoen Krung, opened in 2016.
Cortex Helix Academy Co., Ltd. teaches advanced trend and volatility analysis to small groups. The company was established in 2016, after two years of Saturday chart clubs in a rented room nearby.
A short history
In 2014 Anong Srisawat and Prasit Wongchai began meeting on Saturday mornings to compare hand-marked charts. Anong had spent her twenties as an equity research assistant, turning broker notes into pages a portfolio manager could actually read. Prasit had kept a range log on a futures desk and was tired of explaining it in the margin of someone else’s printout.
Friends from Bangkok dealing rooms started arriving with their own journals. The rented room on Charoen Krung was too small by the end of 2015. In 2016 they registered Cortex Helix Academy Co., Ltd. and took the present classroom at 14/2 Charoen Krung Rd, Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok 10120. The six-week desk replaced the open Saturday club the following year, because the club had turned into argument without a sequence.
The company still has one room, ten evening seats, and the same two tutors. Chart packs are printed for each cohort. The academy does not manage money for the people who sit here.

In the room every cohort
Leads trend structure. She stops a line that cannot be explained in one sentence, including her own. Students who want a list of candle names usually meet her resistance in week one, then understand it by the clinic or the critique.
Leads volatility. He still counts ranges by hand before he will discuss a wide week. His journal review habit is to read in silence first; the first question is about a specific mark on a specific page.
How we work with students
Paper before talk
Evenings start with marking, not with a lecture. The tutors speak after the room has a line on the page. That order is the whole method, and it is why laptops stay in bags.
The same ten people
The desk keeps the same ten people for six weeks so the critique in week six refers to work everyone has seen. Clinics are the exception: one Saturday, then you leave with your own rule.
English in the room
Instruction, the workbook, and the chart-pack captions are in English. Students often compare notes in Thai during the break. We do not translate a page in the middle of an exercise.
Neighbourhood
The classroom is in Bang Kho Laem, a short walk from the river end of Charoen Krung. Evening students usually arrive after work. The door opens at 18:15 so the first mark can start at 18:30.
