Desk evenings
From the door at 18:15 to the last pencil at 20:45.
The six-week desk is the same room, the same two weeknights, and a sequence that does not skip ahead because someone has already used a range measure at work.

18:15 — the door
The classroom at 14/2 Charoen Krung Rd opens a quarter of an hour early. Coats go on the hooks by the velvet curtain. Journals stay closed until you are at your own desk. Tea is on the side table; the first cup is before the work, not during the silent pass.

18:30 — silent pass
Twenty to thirty minutes with the evening’s sheet and a pencil. Talking waits. If you arrive after the pass has started, you sit and begin where you are; the tutor will not restart the room for one person.

19:10 — the argument
Two or three students read their ending, or their range count, aloud. The others may disagree only by pointing at a mark on the shared sheet. Stories about a position someone holds outside the room are stopped. The sheet is the subject.

19:40 — break
Fifteen minutes. People step out to the Charoen Krung pavement. Phones are fine in the hallway. They are not fine once the second pass starts.

19:55 — second pass
A harder sheet, or the same sheet with the right-hand side uncovered. Week five replaces this pass with the volatility note read aloud. Week six replaces it with the critique: two pages each, pencil replies from Anong or Prasit, the cohort listening.

20:45 — close
Sheets that belong to the pack stay in the folder. Your journal goes home. The tutors lock the room by 21:00. If you need to speak about a missed evening, do it by email the next morning rather than holding the doorway.
