Privacy notice

What we collect

From the contact form we collect your name, email address, the course or session you choose, an optional preferred date, and the message you write. If you telephone, we collect the number you call from and the notes the tutor writes to answer you. When you pay a deposit, we keep the payer name, the amount, the date, and the seat it was applied to. We do not ask for identity-card numbers, brokerage logins, or account balances.

Why we use it

We use these details to answer you, hold or release a seat, prepare a named chart pack, send a receipt, and, if you ask, remind you of an evening. The lawful basis is steps toward a contract and, for the classroom record, performance of that contract. We do not sell lists of students and we do not send marketing mail. A former student hears from us only about a course they asked to hear about.

Retention

Enquiry messages that do not become a booking are kept for twenty-four months, then deleted. Booking records, receipts, and attendance notes are kept for five years so we can answer a refund question or a receipt request. Journal pages you bring to a review stay with you; we do not keep copies unless you ask us in writing to hold a photograph of a page, in which case we delete it when the review is finished.

Your rights

Under the Thailand Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 you may ask for access to the personal data we hold, ask for a correction, ask for deletion where we no longer need the record, object to a use that is not required for the seat, and ask for a copy in a common format. Write to hello@cortexhelix.click. We respond within thirty days. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Committee.

International transfers

The academy’s own files are kept in Thailand. Email sent to hello@cortexhelix.click may be stored on the servers of our email host, which can be outside Thailand. Where that happens, we rely on the host’s contractual safeguards and send only what the enquiry needs. We do not move student journals to a foreign archive.
