Terms of study

These terms cover the courses and appointments offered by Cortex Helix Academy Co., Ltd. (“the academy”) at 14/2 Charoen Krung Rd, Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok 10120. By paying a deposit, paying a fee, or attending a session, you agree to them. The person who attends must be the person named on the seat.

The offer

The academy teaches advanced trend and volatility analysis in person. A seat on the Advanced Trend and Volatility Desk, a place at the Trend Leg Clinic, or a Chart Journal Review is a teaching appointment. Course materials use historical charts. Decisions about money remain with the student after they leave the room. The fee pays for teaching time, printed sheets, and, where included, pencil replies on the student’s pages.

Acceptance and changes

A seat is accepted when the academy emails confirmation and, for the desk, when the deposit is received against that confirmation. Dates, tutors, and sheet lists can move if a tutor is ill or if a cohort does not reach six deposits. If we change the start date by more than ten days, you may take the new date or a refund of sums already paid for that seat.

Intellectual property

Chart packs, workbook prompts, and the sequence of evening exercises are the academy’s materials. You may keep your marked copy for your own study. Copying the pack for another person, selling it, or reading the exercises aloud as a course of your own falls outside these terms. Notes you write in your personal journal remain yours. Pencil replies a tutor writes on your journal stay with you for your own study. Presenting those replies as the academy’s advice to a third party falls outside these terms.

Conduct in the room

The classroom holds a small group. Students leave phones away during a silent pass, speak to the sheet rather than to a position they hold outside, and let others finish a sentence. The academy may end a person’s attendance, with a refund of unused whole sessions as described on the refund page, if that person repeatedly stops the group from working.

Liability

Teaching is provided with reasonable care by the named tutors. The academy is not liable for losses arising from decisions a student makes in markets, from travel to the classroom, or from a journal left behind after closing. Liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence is not limited. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Thai consumer law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Disputes are subject to the courts of Thailand, unless a mandatory rule gives you a different forum. The English text of these terms is the working text of the classroom.
