Refunds and cancellations

These rules apply to the Advanced Trend and Volatility Desk, the Trend Leg Clinic, the Chart Journal Review, and a private Saturday booked with Cortex Helix Academy Co., Ltd. Eligibility and timeframe

You may cancel a desk seat with a full refund of sums paid, including the 6,000 THB deposit, if the written cancellation reaches us at least fourteen days before the first evening. Between fourteen days and the first evening, the deposit is kept and any balance already paid is returned. After the first evening has started, fees already paid are not returned, except where a later week is cancelled by the academy.

A clinic fee is returned in full if you cancel at least three days before the Saturday. Inside three days the fee is kept, because the sheet set has been counted for that headcount. A journal-review fee is returned in full if you move or cancel at least two working days before the appointment.

Partial refunds

If you have attended part of the desk and the academy cancels the remaining weeks, we return the share of the 28,000 THB fee that matches the untaught weeks. Six weeks means each untaken week is one sixth. A week you missed without notice is not an untaken week under this rule.

Printed materials

Once a chart pack has been printed with your name for a cohort that then begins, the cost of that pack stays with the academy even if you leave after week one. The pack itself can be collected or posted to a Bangkok address you provide. Workbook pages already written in are yours. Unused blank workbooks from a seat cancelled fourteen days ahead are not charged.

Work already started

A journal review that has begun is charged in full, including when you end it early. If the tutor has already marked pages before you arrive and you do not attend, the fee is kept. If we have not yet started and you gave two working days’ notice, the fee is returned.

Deposits, rescheduling, no-shows

The desk deposit holds a named seat. You may move that seat to the next cohort once, if you write before the fourteen-day line and the next cohort has room. A second move is treated as a cancellation. A no-show at the first evening, without a message, forfeits the deposit. A no-show at a clinic or review forfeits the fee. Illness with a same-day message lets you move a clinic or review once without a new fee; the desk still follows the fourteen-day line for refunds, though we will hold the seat for the next cohort when we can.

Process, timing, and method

Email hello@cortexhelix.click with the name on the seat, the course, and the date. We confirm the amount within five working days. Approved refunds are paid back to the same bank account that paid us, within fourteen working days of that confirmation. We do not refund in cash at the door.

When the academy cancels

If a cohort fails to reach six deposits, or a tutor’s illness forces us to cancel a clinic we cannot restaff, you receive a full refund of what you paid for that date, or a move to a new date if you prefer. Private Saturdays follow the clinic window unless the quote you accepted states a longer preparation period for custom sheets. Custom sheets already printed for a private day that you cancel inside the window are charged at cost, and that cost is stated in the quote before you pay.
